Situated in a quiet lane, in the hamlet of Iburndale, the cottage sits at the edge of the spectacular North Yorkshire Moors. Blackbird Cottage is an ideal base for you and your dog to explore Whitby and the stunning surrounding area. Scarborough, York and Harrogate are an easy drive.

Inside

Blackbird Cottage has its own distinctive features and is appointed to a very high standard, for you to enjoy the conveniences you would expect from a modern cottage.The cottage offers homely, self catering accommodation and is very comfortably furnished.

The kitchen gives access to an airy morning room and a snug lounge with log stove. There is a bathroom and two bedrooms all sharing a similar charming appearance. Outside there is a sheltered enclosed garden and private seating area. There is parking for a car on-site. For larger parties, Blackbird Cottage may be booked along with the other three beautiful properties at Bumblewick Cottages.

Amenities

Everday amenities are on hand at the larger village of Sleights, adjacent to Iburndale.  There is an Award Winning butcher, small Spa, bakery serving home made breads, patries, cooked meats and more. There is also a village Post Office.  For larger parties, Blackbird Cottage may be booked with the other three beautiful properties at Bumblewick Cottages.
